Please read this entire page carefully prior to booking. We know it's the boring stuff, but it's still important ;)
These terms outline the requirements of being a customer of Sesake & Allemo Cleaning.

By accessing this website, contacting us in any way, or booking our services, you agree to these terms in full. Do not continue to use Sesake & Allemo Cleaning’s website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms of Service, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Policies and Agreements: “Customer”, "Client," “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Sesake & Allemo Cleaning. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of providing our services to the Client in accordance with and subject to the prevailing law of British Columbia, Canada. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Customer Requirements - Terms and Conditions
Customer agrees to the following:

Sesake & Allemo Cleaning takes pride in the work done and takes precautions to protect your property during service such as but not limited to: Pre and post rinsing vegetation, covering sensitive vegetation and/or items, correct chemical dilution and environmentally-friendly compounds, cleaning up reasonable messes (including for spillover on neighbouring properties), etc.

All cleanings are done between the hours of 9am and 6pm. While we make a true effort to arrive at the time you book, we may require some leeway. Sesake & Allemo Cleaning does not require private/detached homeowners to be present for cleaning, unless access to water, electrical, or washing area requires your attendance.
Sesake & Allemo Cleaning is not legally liable for any damage that can occur but is not likely that include but are not limited to: water damage and water intrusion, electrical short circuits, mechanical, vegetation, personal items, oxidation, discoloration, seals, gaskets, paint chipping, windows, vehicles, etc. Please note that power washing is not recommended for painted surfaces, such as painted concrete or wood, as these are extremely prone to chipping.
In the case of accidental damage or miscommunication of service, Sesake & Allemo Cleaning will rectify the problem if reasonable.
Please note that it is imperative that the drains on the property that is being serviced are in working order. Clogged and/or slow drainage will cause water buildup, which will make it extremely difficult to service the property properly, but also may cause flooding and/or damage to the property, for which Sesake & Allemo Cleaning will not be held liable. In the event of us cleaning a property where the drains are clogged or slow to drain, there is almost guaranteed to be sediment buildup in the puddle that may inevitably arise. Once the puddle drains, the sediment is likely to remain. This can be cleaned by rinsing it a few times.

Ensure your outside water source and electricity is turned on from inside your house. We currently require the use of customers' water and electricity for jobs. We do not reimburse electrical and water usage, as use of on-site resources keeps our service costs low.

Have the area we are servicing clear of obstacles. If booking garbage cleaning service, note that bins must be empty. Sesake & Allemo Cleaning cannot wash the interiors of bins that have refuse in them. Ensure your booking is made only for the day after your city's collection day, and/or if your bins will be empty. We reserve the right to turn down a job if there is refuse in the bin, as this can cause litter to be scattered in the area, attracting unwanted pests and fines for littering. This situation does not omit a late cancellation fee.

All items should be removed from the vicinity of the area to be washed, at least 5 meters away. Failure to remove objects may result in damage, for which Sesake & Allemo Cleaning is not liable.

While Sesake & Allemo Cleaning is on location of your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals, away from the work area. This is for your safety as well as ours.
For contracts involving houses, vehicles or similar property, please make sure all doors and windows are locked tightly to ensure there are no tiny gaps that may leak and notify Sesake & Allemo Cleaning of any known window or door damage and leaks. If your windows or doors are not sealed properly there may be some leaking, for which Sesake & Allemo Cleaning is not liable.

Provide Sesake & Allemo Cleaning with exclusive access to areas covered by the contract. Do not schedule other exterior contractors, unless previously discussed in writing, as this will cause conflict.
For contracts scheduled by private owners of individual strata lots on strata plans (as opposed to the building manager), you confirm you have spoken to and received written permission from the strata corporation regarding our services. Any issues that arise, including (but not limited to) complaints from tenants other than the individual booking the service, complaints from the strata manager/corporation/staff, and rule and bylaw fines, will be handed off to the individual booking the service and they will be responsible for paying any fees and will bear responsibility of repercussions.

Strata contracts
The time it takes for Sesake & Allemo Cleaning to clean the garbages depends on the amount of bins present, so please contact us directly for a time estimate. If you have a preferred time of day you would like the cleaner to come, we may be able to accommodate you based on availability.

We request that the property manager or other designated attendant be present at the start time of the cleaning to discuss any final details. Presence of this individual during the remainder of the process is up to the strata corporation's/plan's discretion.

The price for one-time strata garbage bin cleaning is currently $23 CAD/bin + GST. Please contact us for an estimate for bi-weekly or monthly plan pricing. A non-refundable 50$ deposit is required for booking, which will be subtracted from the total amount. An invoice will be sent to you following the cleaning, and is payable in up to 60 days following the date of cleaning. Prices are subject to change without notice. If you are interested in hiring us for regular-interval garbage cleanings, please contact us directly for an estimate.

Strata cancellation/rescheduling is available up to 72 hours prior to the arranged cleaning time. Please email us directly if you wish to cancel or reschedule at sesakeallemo@gmail.com.

Stains
Note that some stains cannot be removed by power washing.

Water and Electricity
Ensure your outside water and electricity source is turned on from inside your property. We currently require the use of customers' water and electricity for jobs. Owner of property may be responsible for water and electricity usage and/or charges related to water and electricity usage. By booking services from Sesake & Allemo Cleaning, we assume you understand the responsibility of providing water and electricity usage and hook up. Sesake & Allemo Cleaning is not responsible for any damage and/or leaks related to water or electrical services in or on the property being serviced.

Payment
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cheque. Payment is due upon booking of services rendered for private/detached houses, and within 60 calendar days after service rendered for strata corporations. Strata contracts require a non-refundable 50$ deposit, payable online when booking. Online invoicing and receipts are available.

Using our content
The content we publish on any websites or social media platforms directly associated to Sesake & Allemo Cleaning are our own, or without copyright. This includes photographs or videos of our work being performed on client properties. Do not use, download, copy, repost, or repurpose our content in any way without our written permission. If you would like to request the use of our content, please contact sesakeallemo@gmail.com.

Content on platforms
When possible, we prefer to take content of the before and after of our work. We take special care to not include/remove any sensitive details from content, which includes, but is not limited to, individuals' faces, residence identifying markers (such as address numbers), copyrighted material, branding, etc. If you would explicitly NOT like us to take content at your property, please let us know prior to the start of our job. Requests to remove content can be made in writing by contacting us directly at sesakeallemo@gmail.com and will be carefully considered on an individual basis.

Legal
We comply with all WCB/WorkSafe BC regulations, hold valid liability insurance for up to 5 million dollars in coverage, and maintain a valid business license for operation. Please contact us directly if you wish to discuss the details at sesakeallemo@gmail.com.

Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy
Private residence/detached houses
We require 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a cleaning job. Failure to reschedule or cancel with more than 48 hours notice will result in a 25% late cancellation fee. Please email us directly if you wish to cancel or reschedule at sesakeallemo@gmail.com.

Strata contracts
We require 72 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a strata cleaning job. Failure to reschedule or cancel with more than 72 hours notice will result in withholding of deposit. Please email us directly if you wish to cancel or reschedule at sesakeallemo@gmail.com.
